How to use an Epipen?

1. Take the blue cap off

2. With a swinging motion push orange end(needle end) into thigh hard until you hear and/or feel a click

3. Hold for 3 seconds and then remove from thigh

*Look at the time and document it. The person can have another epipen if necessary 15mins later. You also want to inform EMS of time of administration.
